From software developer to business owner - from web designer to UX designer: What sets me apart from the crowd is the ability to combine fundamental skills acquired through diverse professional roles throughout my career. These experiences helped me build a solid background that I can bring to the table for any projects.
I speak different programming languages and I am proficient in using main design softwares. I believe that I have a good sense of how to work towards successful outcomes by understanding the WHYs.
The user experience is always at the core of my design. I am always focusing on deeply understanding their needs and their frustrations in order to create a solution that will resonate with them. Putting myself in their shoes and empathising with them is crucial to provide an intuitive and enjoyable interaction with a product.
It is crucial to always have the user at the centre of a project, from the very beginning to beyond its launch. How users interact and experience a solution will change with time, therefore the product needs to evolve with them. User experience design is an ongoing process.
I believe that a good design is when it becomes invisible to the user.

As a side note, I entirely designed and developed my portfolio myself.
I am proficient in various design tools and development languages, giving me a complete toolkit that I could use for any projects. Most of my design deliverables are made with Figma or Sketch App and InVision but I am also skilled in AxureRP, Photoshop and Illustrator. I also have a deep understanding of HTML, CSS, Boostrap, JavaScript (e.g. Angular) with a backend communication in PHP or NodeJS.

I applied the full UX process in the existing checkout product in order to enhance the user interface and improve the mobile experience. I also worked on a gamification system that could be integrated into the user dashboard.

My main task was to conduct a heuristic evaluation on the online platform for non-profit organisation and a user research. I could then define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of the product and create a dynamic mobile prototype for the volunteer management.

My responsibilities were to lead the IT service for the web accounting application, being in charge of analysing the organisational goals, interpreting users' needs, as well as coordinating the development and the delivery. I also facilitated the user interaction by simplifying the user interface and improving the screen flows.

I gained understanding of the medical industry's needs and requirements in order to develop a risk management software, design the user interface, the interactions and the screen flows. I completed the project successfully, and the software was deployed across 110 private hospitals in the EU.

In 2008, I launched a successful web agency in a high competitive industry. I coordinated the business strategy, built partnerships with communication agencies and led a team of one designer and three developers. I also designed websites and marketing materials for numerous clients, alongside of an e-ticketing software used by 120 restaurants and a SMS marketing software deployed in more than 90 companies.
